Marcela Torres: Marcela Torres es periodista y máster en turismo, con mención en ecoturismo. Nacida en Santiago, Chile, ha vivido en Estados Unidos, Costa Rica y Australia, donde se graduó de James Cook University. Debido a su pasión por los viajes, ha visitado gran parte de Chile y otros países, incluyendo Perú, Argentina y Brasil. Es co-autora de “Los parques nacionales de Chile: una guía para el visitante” (Editorial Universitaria, 1998 y 2004), que describe los atractivos, especies en peligro y facilidades de infraestructura en las 24 áreas protegidas de mayor demanda turística en el país. ************************* Marcela Torres is a journalist and master of tourism, with a major in ecotourism. Born in Santiago, Chile, she has lived in the United States, Costa Rica, and Australia, where she graduated from James Cook University. Because of her passion for travel, she has visited most of Chile and other countries including Peru, Brazil and Argentina. She is co-author of the Guide to Chile’s National Parks (in Spanish), which describes the attractions, endangered species and facilities in the 24 protected areas with the greatest demand for tourism in the country.
